• Daily Mail: the 14 August psychiatric-speculation column. A headline promising 'one condition that could explain everything' about a man the author admits he never met.
• The Times: presenting AI-detector conjecture about his resignation letter as a finding, the ''Plagiarist' professor' headline pattern, and the silent deletion of the death-day mockery column.
• The Telegraph: 'The Cambridge fantasist' as settled fact while nothing was adjudicated, and 'diversity poster boy' in place of his name across a month of headlines.
• The Sun: 'Plagiarism prof' as an unqualified statement of guilt, in a headline, about an unadjudicated allegation his awarding university had not upheld.
• The Spectator: a cover declaring 'The fantastical truth about Jason Arday' while every allegation remained unadjudicated, and 21 pieces in 21 days presenting guilt as settled.

Direct letters to the editors

• Daily Mail: remove or correct the psychiatric-speculation column and account for publishing it on the last morning of his life.
• The Times: account for the mockery column published while he lay dead, then deleted without a word, and for the 44-article month behind it.
• The Telegraph: account for interrogating his childhood disability on the afternoon he died, one minute before the ambulance call.
• The Sun: review the 'thinking man's Lee Andrews' jibe now that he is dead, and explain covering only the humiliation.
• The Spectator: account for 21 pieces in 21 days, the cover story, and the 'It's a cesspool!' podcast released the morning he died.

The Guardian (not IPSO regulated, answers through its readers' editor)

• The Guardian: Dr Arday raised a safeguarding risk with the paper himself before it published on 12 August, and it published anyway. Four questions its readers' editor must answer, on what the paper did with that warning and on the headline that elevated a year-below YouTuber's 'always cracking jokes' quote over two named classmates and the school's adult helper.
