Settler attack near Hebron
Four Palestinians were injured on Saturday in an attack by settlers in the Wadi al-Rakhim area of Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron in the West Bank, according to وكالة سبأ.
وكالة سبأ said the settlers assaulted residents with stones, clubs, and pepper spray, resulting in four injuries including bruises, cuts, and cases of suffocation, and that the injured were transferred to Yatta Governmental Hospital with injuries described as moderate.

The same وكالة سبأ report said the Wadi al-Rakhim hamlet suffers from repeated attacks by settlers that intensified after the erection of a settlement tent in the area.
It also cited that on March 7, young Amir Muhammad Shanaran was killed and his brother Khalid was seriously wounded after armed settlers shot them at close range in Wadi al-Rakhim.
In a separate West Bank incident, Anadolu Ajansı reported that three Palestinians, including a child, were wounded Saturday in two attacks by Israeli settlers, and said the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported impeded access to its medical teams as they attempted to render aid.
Wounds, raids, and arrests
Anadolu Ajansı said that in the village of al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, the head of the local council, Amin Abu Alia, reported that settlers opened fire on residents and wounded two Palestinians, describing the situation as grave and saying there were two injured, a child and a young man shot in the back and in critical condition.
In the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron, Anadolu Ajansı reported that the Palestinian Red Crescent Society said a man was injured after being violently beaten by settlers and added that Israeli army forces impeded access to its medical teams as they attempted to render aid.

The report also described footage relayed by Palestinian media showing two Israeli soldiers assaulting a Palestinian man inside his vehicle in Beit Furik, east of Nablus, with the mayor of Beit Furik, Aref Hanni, identifying the victim as Mohammed Al-Shouli in his forties and saying he sustained minor injuries and bruises.
In a different account focused on raids and arrests, الجزيرة نت said that Israeli occupation forces blew open the doors of several shops in Yatta before raiding them, searching them, and rummaging through their contents.
It further stated that in Nablus, WAFA quoted security sources as saying that occupation forces entered districts including al-Dhahiya, al-Ma’ajin, School Street, Beita, and Al-Mat’hana, raided and searched homes, and arrested Mohammad Amin Al-Qouqa from Al-Mat’hana Street and Raed Al-Qouqa from School Street.
Escalation and wider impact
