Conviction details
Jurors heard graphic details of humiliation and violence: Wixon would regularly beat the victim, including with a broom handle that once knocked out her teeth.
She would squirt washing-up liquid down the victim's throat, splash bleach on her face and repeatedly shave her head against her will.

The victim referred to Wixon as “The Witch.”
Wixon was convicted in January of false imprisonment and modern-day slavery offences, including two counts of requiring a person to perform forced or compulsory labour and charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, following an earlier 13-day trial.
