Hezbollah strikes in south
Hezbollah said its fighters targeted a building in the Shomera Barracks, the headquarters of the 300th Brigade belonging to the Israeli army, at the Ababil offensive sorties at 3:00 PM on Monday afternoon, May 25, 2026.
In a second statement, Hezbollah said at 4:05 PM on Monday afternoon it targeted a tent in which Israeli army soldiers were positioned near the Hadb al-Bustan site, also at the Ababil offensive sorties.

Hezbollah added that at 6:30 PM on Monday it targeted a vehicle belonging to the Israeli army on the road to the Jall al-Alam site, causing it to burn, and at 7:05 PM it targeted a Hummer vehicle belonging to the Israeli army at the Ras al-Naqoura site, causing it to burn.
The party framed the operations as a response to the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire and to assaults that struck villages in southern Lebanon and resulted in the deaths of martyrs and a number of civilians wounded.
Ras al-Naqoura red line
The Israeli Broadcasting Authority described a Hezbollah drone attack that targeted Israeli civilians in the Ras al-Naqoura area as a 'red-line crossing,' and said the Israeli army is preparing to respond to the operation.
The authority quoted an Israeli official as saying that the military is taking the attack very seriously, noting that the assault targeted the Ras al-Naqoura area inside Israeli territory.

In parallel, the Islamic Resistance said it carried out operations 'in defense of Lebanon and its people and in response to violations of the cease-fire and Israeli aggressions,' including targeting at 12:10 a.m. an Israeli Merkava tank in the Tel Nahas area on the outskirts of the town of Kefr Kila (Kafr Kila) with a guided missile, claiming a direct hit and that it caught fire.
Israeli reporting cited by the same account said the drone strike led to injuries, with Yedioth Ahronoth reporting that the drone hit a vehicle site in the area and IDF Radio saying air-defense systems failed to intercept it.
Escalation and retaliatory cycle
AFP, as quoted in one report, said Hezbollah announced it targeted a gathering of soldiers of the Israeli occupation forces at the Ras Naqoura site, framing it as a response to strikes carried out in Lebanon despite the ceasefire.
By contrast, the Israeli forces said in a statement carried by AFP that over the past 24 hours they carried out a series of aerial and ground operations targeting about 65 Hezbollah sites in various areas of southern Lebanon.
The Israeli statement said the airstrikes hit weapons depots, watchtowers, command centers, and infrastructure used by Hezbollah to carry out attacks against their positions, and described the operations as measures intended to remove threats to the security of civilian settlers and the troops deployed along the border.
In another set of claims, Al-Manar TV Lebanon said Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 15:00 on Friday, May 29, 2026 the Iron Dome platform at the Ras al-Naqoura site with an Ababil loitering glider, and at 15:30 they targeted an Israeli enemy army Hummer vehicle in the town of Naqoura with an Ababil loitering glider.
