Israel Bombs Hezbollah Leader's Beirut Residence, Seven Killed in South Beirut

Israel intensified attacks on southern Beirut and southern Lebanon.

Israeli strikes also hit the capital's Hadath district.

Israel confirmed the strikes were aimed at killing senior Hezbollah officials.

Israel's military said it struck the commander of the southern front in Hezbollah, identified as Youssef Hachem.

The Lebanese News Agency confirmed Hachem and two other Hezbollah members were killed.

Nearly the entire district's road network was blocked or destroyed.

Official Lebanese figures reported over 1,200 people killed since the war started.
