Israel Issues Evacuation Warning at Masnaa Crossing, Plans to Strike Hezbollah

The Israeli army issued an urgent evacuation warning for the Masnaa border crossing and announced plans to strike the site.

Adraee said the crossing is being used by Hezbollah for military purposes and smuggling weapons.

Lebanese authorities confirmed evacuation and the Syrian side said the crossing is exclusively for civilian use.

The Masnaa crossing had previously been struck by Israel in October 2024 during the previous war with Hezbollah.

The Masnaa warning came as Israel has ramped up its offensive against Iranian proxies since February 28.

Hezbollah was described as the main artery connecting Damascus and Beirut to replenish its arsenal.

Lebanon's health ministry said Israel's broader campaign has killed 1,422 people since March 2.

The buildup at Masnaa followed weeks of strikes and a ground invasion that began when Hezbollah entered the war.
