Israeli Forces Kill Iran's Revolutionary Guard Top Intelligence Chief Khademi

Israeli forces killed Majid Khademi, head of the IRGC intelligence organization, in a strike on Tehran confirmed by both Israeli and Iranian sources.

Katz said Khademi was effectively No. 2 within the IRGC and had survived multiple waves of targeting until now.

The IDF accused Khademi of helping advance terrorist attacks abroad, overseeing surveillance of Iranian civilians, and coordinating extensively with Russia.

Khademi had been IRGC intelligence chief since June 2025, replacing Mohammad Kazemi who was killed in an earlier Israeli strike.

The IRGC described the strike as a criminal terrorist attack carried out by the U.S.-Zionist enemy.

The IDF confirmed the killing of Quds Force special operations commander Asghar Bagheri.

Bagheri was directly involved in recruiting agents and orchestratin attacks against American targets.

He also personally commanded operations targeting IDF soldiers on the Syrian-Israel border.

The deaths represent a coordinated decapitation strike aimed at dismantling Iranian security and intelligence.

Iran's Supreme National Security Council stated it would exploit any enemy weakness as part of legitimate self-defense.
