Israeli Settler Kills Palestinian Man in Northern West Bank Attack

The occupied West Bank witnessed a surge in settler violence as Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian villages.

The IDF's Hebrew statement called Subeih a terrorist, while the English statement referred to him as a civilian.

The UN has recorded an increase in settler violence, with 148 incidents in January, 191 in February, and 206 in March.

Multiple settler attacks occurred across the West Bank on the same day.

In Einabus, settlers beat two young men; in Burin, assailants maced a Palestinian woman.

In the South Hebron Hills, settlers attacked two boys aged 11 and 13.

The West Bank has seen a wave of rising extremist settler violence since February 28.

Israeli and Palestinian human rights groups say these attacks have displaced no fewer than 700 Palestinians since 2025.

The Israeli government approved the construction of dozens of new Jewish settlements in the West Bank.
