Anadolu Ajansı also stated that despite a ceasefire announced on April 17 and extended until May 17, the Israeli army continues daily strikes in Lebanon.

The Anadolu Ajansı report placed the broader toll since March 2 at at least 2,727 people killed, 8,438 wounded, and more than 1.6 million displaced, about one-fifth of the population, according to the latest official figures.

In the same account, Anadolu Ajansı said Israel occupies areas in southern Lebanon and has advanced about 10 kilometers (6.2 miles) inside the southern border during the current conflict.

الجزيرة نت said the Health Ministry’s Emergency Operations Center stated that the total cumulative toll of the Israeli aggression from March 2 to April 27 reached 2,521 dead and 7,804 injured.

The report also said U.S. President Donald Trump asked Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to "exercise restraint" regarding the ceasefire in Lebanon during a phone call on Monday evening.

In response to what Hezbollah described as Israeli violations of the ceasefire, the report said Hezbollah targeted two gatherings of Israeli soldiers and an Israeli Merkava tank in the towns of al-Tayba and al-Qantara in southern Lebanon with two suicide drones.

The report added that the Israeli army said Hezbollah launched explosive drones that exploded near its forces in southern Lebanon, and that sirens blared in the Upper Galilee and in Masgaf Am due to intercepting drones launched toward its forces in the area.
