A former staffer said he sexually assaulted her in a New York hotel room in 2024 when she was too intoxicated to consent.

More than 50 former staff members called for him to drop out of the governor’s race and resign from Congress.

Gonzales was accused of sending explicit texts to a now-deceased former aide.

The House Ethics Committee had opened an investigation into Gonzales.
