WAFA added that Civil Defence volunteers in the villages of al-Tuwani and Susya in Masafer Yatta rushed to contain and extinguish the fires.
In the same update, WAFA said anti-colonization activist Najeh Atiimat reported that the occupation authorities handed Palestinian residents of the Umm Qassa community in Masafer Yatta 15 stop-work notices targeting homes, dwellings, and facilities.
