Baghaei said Araghchi will hold talks with senior Iraqi officials on bilateral relations as well as regional and international developments, and will conduct consultations on these issues.

Mehr News Agency also said Araghchi will visit neighboring Iraq on Sunday, with the announcement coming from Baghaei on Saturday night.

In a separate Iraqi domestic note carried alongside the Iran-Iraq item, NINA said the Federal Intelligence and Investigations Agency took stringent legal action against parties to a clash between people of different foreign nationalities in the holy province of Karbala.
