Trump’s remarks resurface
CNEWS said that comments made by U.S. President Donald Trump about Lady Diana, the mother of Prince Harry, resurfaced in British press ahead of the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
“Chez CNEWS, nous respectons votre vie privée et c'est grâce à la publicité personnalisée que nous vous permettons de recevoir à chaque instant et gratuitement une information de qualité”
CNEWS reported that in an exchange recorded with Howard Stern dated 4 novembre 1997, Trump said: «Je pense que j'aurais pu l'avoir.»

CNEWS also quoted Trump telling Stern: «Revenez dans ma Lexus, car j'ai un nouveau docteur, avait-il plaisanté avec Howard Stern en imaginant s'adresser à la défunte princesse.»
CNEWS added that the White House indicated the couple would not honor the invitation to attend the wedding, even though Trump made a donation to an association recommended by the future spouses.
Who was invited
Europe 1 described Prince Harry’s wedding at Windsor’s St George’s Chapel on May 19 as a small, intimate ceremony for about 600 people, and said the Queen of England, 92, would attend unless there is a last-minute health issue.
Europe 1 said Elizabeth II formally gave her consent in December last year, noting British law requires the monarch to approve the marriages of the six foremost heirs to the throne.

Europe 1 also listed Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, described as her 61-year-old yoga instructor mother, as on the guest list, and said it was possible she would walk toward the altar in place of her father.
Europe 1 further named British singer James Blunt as a possible guest, saying the two men served in the army together a few years ago.
Royal protocol and lodging
Ouest-France said the visit of Prince William and Kate Middleton to Paris, at the initiative of the British Foreign Office, carries symbolism and that the couple will meet French entrepreneurs and attend the France–Wales match this Saturday alongside François Hollande.
“For a prince, this is what you call a small, intimate wedding”
Ouest-France reported that the President of the Republic will receive Kate Middleton and Prince William at the Élysée upon their arrival, and said they will stay at the Hôtel de Charost at 39 Rue du Faubourg-Saint-Honoré in the 8th arrondissement.
Ouest-France added that since 1814 the Hôtel de Charost has been the residence of the United Kingdom’s ambassador to France, and said an official dinner will be held there in the presence of young French leaders active in art, sport, and business.
CNN’s segment, featuring Susan Page author of 'The Queen and Her Presidents', framed royal protocol and presidential missteps by discussing a U.S. president who was never invited back to Kensington Palace.
