The Grand Mufti wished President Abbas continued health and well-being, expressing hopes for the occasion to return with Palestine liberated from occupation.
President Abbas responded by thanking the Grand Mufti for his greetings and inquiring about the conditions of Palestinian people in Jerusalem who face ongoing assaults by occupation authorities.
The President specifically commended their steadfastness in the face of occupation practices while expressing hope that Eid would come with fulfillment of Palestinian aspirations for freedom, independence, and a sovereign state with East Jerusalem as its capital.
