Hezbollah Destroys Two Iron Domes and Targets Israeli Vehicles in Southern Lebanon

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon, Hezbollah, said it destroyed two Iron Domes and targeted sites and gatherings of the Israeli occupation in southern Lebanon and inside the occupied Palestinian territories.

Quds News Agency reported that between 10:00 and 19:00 on Tuesday 19/05/2026, resistance fighters targeted gatherings of soldiers and Israeli occupation vehicles at Khulla Raj in the town of Deir Srian with artillery shells, rocket salvos, and assault drones in repeated waves.

It said that at 13:25 on Tuesday, fighters targeted an Iron Dome platform at the Jall al-Alam site with an assault drone, destroying it, and at 14:30 they targeted another Iron Dome platform in the Merhliot settlement with an assault drone, destroying it.

The same update described a sequence of additional attacks, including a confirmed hit on a military vehicle in the Misgav Am settlement at 14:00 and a swarm of assault drones striking a newly established site in Maroun al-Ras at 16:00.

Quds News Agency also stated that these operations were carried out “in defense of Lebanon and its people” and “in response to the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire.”

While Quds News Agency framed the actions as resistance to ceasefire violations, it also said Israeli Channel 12 noted the death of a captain in the Maglan unit in battles in south Lebanon today.

Al-Manar TV Lebanon further described a rocket barrage against a gathering of vehicles and soldiers of the Israeli enemy army in the town of Al-Bayyada, southern Lebanon: statement 13.

In parallel, وكالة سبأ described Lebanese resistance retaliation against Zionist enemy forces in Al-Bayyada with rocket fire, while also listing other regional conflict and humanitarian updates.

Quds News Agency said the Islamic Resistance issued 26 military statements on Tuesday 19/05/2026, listing multiple attacks across southern Lebanon and areas described as inside occupied Palestinian territories.

It included claims such as targeting the Ras al-Naqoura maritime site with a swarm of assault drones at 10:55, and targeting a communications vehicle belonging to the Israeli army in the square of the town of At-Tiba with a swarm of assault drones at 08:00, “which was seen burning.”

The update also asserted that at 11:30 fighters targeted a gathering of Israeli army soldiers in Beit Leiv with artillery shells, and at 14:00 they targeted a gathering of Israeli army vehicles and soldiers west of the Arab al-Aramsha village north of occupied Palestine with a swarm of assault drones.

Al-Manar TV Lebanon’s sequence of statements similarly presented continued rocket salvo and rocket barrage attacks in Qantara, Al-Bayyada, and Al-Qaouzah, each tied to a numbered statement.

The overall framing across the sources was that the operations were ongoing and connected to “Israeli ceasefire violations” and “assaults that affected southern Lebanese villages,” which Quds News Agency said left martyrs and a number of civilian injuries.
