Hezbollah Destroys Two Israeli Merkava Tanks With Ababil Drones in Dabl, Nabatieh Province

Hezbollah said its fighters destroyed two Israeli Merkava tanks using Ababil drones in the town of Dabl in Nabatieh province, and it also struck an Israeli army vehicle on the road to the Jal Al-Allam military site in northern Israel.

In a separate set of statements carried by وكالة سبأ, the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon said it targeted at 11:10 a Merkava tank in the town of Dabal with an Ababil dive drone, achieving a confirmed hit.

The same وكالة سبأ report said the resistance targeted at 11:30 a second Merkava tank in Dabal with an Ababil dive drone, also achieving a confirmed hit.

The اسلام تايمز account added that Hezbollah launched drone attacks on a gathering of Israeli soldiers in Jal al-Hammar, south of the city of Odeisa, and it said artillery headquarters in Odeisa were targeted with a multitude of attack drones.

The اسلام تايمز piece also stated that Israeli attacks have killed more than 3,100 people in Lebanon since Israeli forces escalated attacks on the country on March 2.

Al Jazeera نت said Hizbullah broadcast footage of a targeting operation in the town of al-Biyada, south Lebanon, where Israeli Army soldiers were taking cover inside a house, and it said the group used kamikaze drones to achieve a direct hit.

In that same Al Jazeera نت account, the group asserted the operation was a response to Israeli military movements in the border region and it said it expanded the scope of its operations with rocket salvos on the Nahariya settlement and military infrastructure in the occupied city of Safed.

Al Jazeera نت further reported that the group said it targeted a Merkava Israeli tank in the Saf al-Hawa area inside Bint Jbeil using a kamikaze drone, confirming a 'confirmed hit,' as part of continuing to target Israeli vehicles and military fortifications along the front.

Al-Manar TV Lebanon, meanwhile, published a statement saying Islamic Resistance fighters targeted at 19:15 on Tuesday 26-05-2026 a Merkava tank at the water reservoir in Zawtar Al-Sharqiyah town with an Ababil loitering glider [FPV]: statement 31.

The Al-Manar TV Lebanon feed also included a line stating that Lebanese health ministry: Israeli attacks on Tuesday left 31 martyrs and 40 injuries.

The اسلام تايمز report framed Hezbollah’s actions as part of “continuing to defend Lebanese sovereignty,” describing strikes on multiple locations including Odeisa, Qozah, Rashaf and Mesgaf Aam, as well as the newly established Balat base.

In the same اسلام تايمز account, it said Hezbollah targeted the Zionist regime’s Ramim garrison with two drones, followed by strikes on the Avivim garrison with two more drones, as part of continued operations against invading enemy forces.

وكالة سبأ described the resistance’s Monday operations as coming in defense of Lebanon and its people in response to the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire and attacks that targeted southern villages resulting in civilian casualties, and it placed the actions within the battle of "Devoured Storm".

Al Jazeera نت reported that the group’s successive statements included attacks on the Avivim and Yar'un settlements and shelling gatherings of Israeli soldiers near the Al-Tahrir Triangle and the town of al-Biyada.

With the front continuing to feature drone and rocket salvos in locations named across southern Lebanon and beyond, the sources also continued to cite a running casualty figure, with اسلام تايمز saying Israeli attacks have killed more than 3,100 people in Lebanon since March 2.
