Hezbollah Injures Six Israeli Soldiers and a Settler With Drone and Missile Attacks

The Palestinian agency Safa, via Hebrew Channel 11 translation, said six soldiers were injured yesterday, some with life-threatening injuries, in two Hezbollah operations in southern Lebanon, one by a guided missile and the other via the detonation of a drone on the troops.

Hezbollah said it struck a gathering of occupation soldiers and their vehicles in the Khanouq area of the border town of Adaisseh for the second time with a volley of rockets, and the party also announced focused strikes with artillery shells and Katyusha rockets targeting gun positions in Dishon and Al-Za’oura.

In a separate set of claims, Hezbollah said it carried out an aerial assault with a swarm of attacking drones targeting the newly established command post in Eilat, and it also announced the destruction of surveillance and technical equipment at the sites of Al-Raheb and Al-Abad to disable the army’s monitoring capabilities.

Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir, Chief of the General Staff of the Israeli Defense Forces, announced the approval of plans to continue military operations on the northern front and said, “No containment anymore, but initiative and offense.”
