Ynetnews said the IDF is investigating how Hezbollah FPV drones struck troops in southern Lebanon at night for the first time, after a Saturday incident killed Givati Brigade soldier Staff Sgt. Michael Tyukin, 21, of Ashkelon.

Ynetnews added that a second nighttime incident followed overnight Sunday into Monday, when Maglan commando Staff Sgt. Adam Tzarfati, 20, was killed, and it quoted a Givati reconnaissance soldier saying, "It’s quite unusual that the drone struck a force at night."

Frustration and drone debate

In Israel, soldiers and family members described a pattern of attacks continuing during a period described as a ceasefire, with one soldier telling Reuters, "Fifteen people have been killed during what is supposed to be a ceasefire, when there really is no ceasefire."

Ynetnews also quoted a father of a hospitalized soldier saying, "How many more people will be killed during this 'ceasefire'? How many?" as he urged action to explain to U.S. President Donald Trump that "action is necessary."
