Hezbollah Targets Israeli Vehicles and Merkava Tank in Al Abbad With Dive Drone

Lebanese Islamic Resistance said it continued on Tuesday targeting positions, vehicles, and tanks of the Israeli enemy army in the occupied south, framing the actions as coming in response to “the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire and the attacks on southern villages.”

In statement number 15, the resistance said its fighters targeted at 16:00 on Tuesday 12-05-2026 a military vehicle manned by two soldiers of the Israeli enemy army in the Al Abbad site with a dive drone, achieving a confirmed hit.

In statement 16, it added that fighters targeted at 16:15 on Tuesday 12-05-2026 a communications vehicle belonging to the Israeli enemy army in the Al Abbad site with a dive drone, and it was seen burning.

In statement 18, it reported that fighters targeted at 16:45 on Tuesday 12-05-2026 a Merkava tank belonging to the Israeli enemy army in the Al Abbad site with a dive drone, achieving a confirmed hit.

In statement number 19, it affirmed that fighters targeted at 17:00 on Tuesday 12-05-2026 a drone jamming device of the "Drone Dome" type in the Al Abbad site with a dive drone, achieving a confirmed hit.

ABNA English described “Operations of Hezbollah Islamic Resistance on Monday, May 11, 2026,” listing multiple attacks in southern Lebanon, including a confirmed hit at 6:10 p.m. against an “Israeli” force positioned inside a house in Baydar Al-Faqaani in the village of Taybeh with an offensive drone.

In the same ABNA English account, it said the fighters targeted at 6:20 p.m. for the second time in Baydar Al-Faqaani in the village of Taybeh with an offensive drone, and it said this “prompted enemy forces to arrive to evacuate the casualties.”

Al Jazeera net said Hezbollah broadcast video footage of a targeting operation carried out by the Islamic Resistance against a position where Israeli soldiers were sheltering inside a house in the town of Beiada, south Lebanon, using kamikaze drones, and it said the group claimed the attack achieved a direct hit.

The Al Jazeera net report also said the party announced it was expanding the scope of its operations, including “targeting the Nahariya settlement and military infrastructure in the occupied city of Safed with rocket volleys.”

Ahl al-Bayt News Agency (International), as carried by ABNA, said the Islamic Resistance announced operations targeting gatherings of soldiers of the Israeli occupation army and its vehicles at the Lebanon–Palestine border, in response to “the occupation's violations of the ceasefire and its ongoing assaults.”

ABNA reported that the resistance announced targeting a leadership headquarters for the Israeli occupation army in the town of al-Biyadah with a volley of rockets, and it also said it targeted the newly established Blat site with artillery shells, achieving confirmed injuries.

In a separate May 12, 2026 update carried by وكالة القدس للأنباء, the Islamic Resistance said it continued operations against Israeli occupation positions and deployments along Lebanon's southern border using guided missiles, kamikaze drones, and artillery shells.

That same وكالة القدس للأنباء update said the resistance issued 25 military statements on Tuesday May 12, 2026, and it described a first strike at 22:10 in the Wadi al-Ain area between the towns of al-Bayyada and Bayt as-Siyad with artillery and rocket salvos, for the second time.

Across the accounts, the resistance repeatedly framed the attacks as “in defense of Lebanon and its people” and tied them to Israeli violations of the ceasefire and attacks on villages in southern Lebanon that resulted in “martyrs and a number of injuries.”
