Lebanon’s National News Agency reported a series of air strikes on several towns as Israel widened raids, while the head of the World Health Organization confirmed that nine medics were killed in five air strikes targeting health facilities, according to مونت كارلو الدولية. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun denounced the killing of journalists who were targeted in the same region, calling it a "blatant crime" that violates rules and treaties protecting journalists in wartime. مونت كارلو الدولية also said Israeli fighter jets broke the sound barrier over Beirut on Saturday evening, and AFP journalists and residents heard loud explosions in the Lebanese capital and its surroundings. The report added that Lebanese Health Minister Rakan Nasr al-Din said nine medics were killed on Saturday alone and that 75 attacks on ambulance and health services had occurred since the start of the war.
