Israeli Forces Raid Ramallah Villages, Demolish Homes in Hebron and Attack Mosque

Israeli forces stormed Dura al-Qara and Al-Mughayyir villages north of Ramallah, firing tear gas and spreading through several neighborhoods, while the Saba report said no arrests or injuries were reported.

In southern Hebron, the same Saba report said Israeli forces demolished several houses, agricultural structures, a water well in Yatta and nearby areas, and uprooted fruit trees, displacing multiple families and causing extensive property damage.

The West Bank continues to see near-daily raids and demolitions alongside rising settler attacks, including land confiscation and assaults on Palestinian residents, according to Saba’s account of the situation.

In a separate report, News.Az said Israeli settlers torched vehicles and attacked a mosque Sunday in the occupied West Bank as Israeli army raids continued across Palestinian towns and villages, including attacks in Deir Abu Mashal northwest of Ramallah and Deir Dibwan east of Ramallah.

News.Az, citing Anadolu, said settlers attacked Palestinian residents while they were heading to agricultural lands south of Deir Abu Mashal, and that the settlers hurled stones triggering confrontations before Israeli forces stormed the area to protect the settlers.

The same News.Az report said no injuries or arrests were reported in Deir Abu Mashal, and described another incident in Deir Dibwan east of Ramallah where settlers set fire to two vehicles and vandalized two others near the town’s western entrance.

In another Ramallah-area incident, News.Az said settlers attacked the village of Burqa, torching a vehicle parked near Al-Nour Mosque and attempting to set the mosque ablaze after smashing its doors and setting fire to its entrance.

WAFA reported that a fifteen-year-old girl was injured by Israeli soldiers’ live fire during an ongoing raid on the village of Al-Mughayyir east of Ramallah, and said the girl was shot in the shoulder and transferred to a hospital in Ramallah where her condition was described as stable.

During that ceremony, the report said Defense Minister Israel Katz, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, and Yossi Dagan were present, and it quoted Smotrich saying, "We end the shame of expulsion, we bury the idea of a Palestinian state, and we return to the Sa-Nur settlement."

The same weekly overview said four people had been killed since that morning, including a 16-year-old Palestinian boy identified by WAFA as Mohammad Majdi al-Ja’bari, and it also said Hamdi Al-Naasan, a 14-year-old student, and Marzouq Abu Naim, 32, were killed by gunfire from Israeli settlers in the village of al-Mughayyir east of Ramallah.

WAFA’s separate report on June 16 said Israeli forces closed the entrances to Al-Mughayyir and prevented movement into and out of the village while continuing their raid and deployment across its streets amid live fire and tear gas.
