Ceasefire Violations Continue
Israeli attacks in Gaza continued despite a ceasefire agreement that entered into force on October 10, 2025, with local sources reporting three Palestinians killed and several others wounded on Monday.

In Gaza City, nurse Mohammed Al-Habil and his son were killed when an Israeli drone targeted a house in the Abu Iskandar area of the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, according to Palestine Chronicle.
In central Gaza, Saleh Ramadan Khalifa was killed in an Israeli strike that targeted a sewing tent near Al-Razi School in the Nuseirat refugee camp, Palestine Chronicle reported.
Gaza’s Health Ministry figures cited by Palestine Chronicle said 992 Palestinians have been killed and 3,144 wounded since the ceasefire took effect, while the Government Media Office in Gaza said Israeli occupation forces committed 3,269 violations of the ceasefire agreement.
As the agreement entered its 245th day, Gaza authorities said violations continue through airstrikes, shootings, demolitions and restrictions on civilian movement, Palestine Chronicle reported.
Voices Condemn Violations
The Government Media Office in Gaza condemned Israel’s ongoing actions, saying the figures it released show a widening gap between the terms of the agreement and Israel’s implementation of its obligations.
It also accused Israel of failing to meet humanitarian obligations in the ceasefire agreement, saying only 52,740 aid trucks have entered Gaza out of the 147,000 trucks expected under the agreement.
In a separate account of the violence, Al Jazeera reported that Israeli forces shot and killed a three-year-old boy, Rayan Abu al-Ajeen, in the Wadi al-Salqa area of Deir el-Balah governorate on Sunday afternoon.
Jaber told Al Jazeera, “My grandson, Rayan, was killed by a gunshot to the head; the bullet entered his head and exited through his eye,” describing the moment he learned his grandson had been killed.
The Israeli military has yet to comment on the shooting, Al Jazeera added, while the article said Israeli forces have continued attacks in Gaza since the October ceasefire, killing almost 1,000 Palestinians.
Humanitarian Stakes and Pressure
UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk told the Human Rights Council that Israeli restrictions on life-saving aid have continued after the October ceasefire, and he said Israel has continued to hinder the humanitarian community’s ability to deliver food, shelter, fuel, medical supplies, and other essential items.

Türk said, “Since the ceasefire, Israel has continued to hinder the humanitarian community's ability to deliver food, shelter, fuel, medical supplies, and other essential items,” and he added that at least 11 children have died of hypothermia.
The UN News report also described how indirect mortality—untreated diseases, malnutrition, exposure to cold—adds to direct victims of fighting, leaving Gaza “permanently destabilized,” it said.
In the West Bank, Türk broadened his analysis to increased settlement activity and persistent tensions, and he insisted that developments there feed a de facto territorial fait accompli.
The UN News report further said Türk condemned pressures placed on international institutions tasked with investigating these violations, including targeted sanctions imposed by the U.S. administration on judges and prosecutors of the International Criminal Court.
