Violence across villages
Yeni Safak English said Israeli settlers launched attacks on several Palestinian villages across the occupied West Bank on Wednesday, injuring Palestinians including a child and a foreign activist, and setting fire to land.
In Masafer Yatta, a Palestinian and a foreign activist sustained bruises after armed settlers attacked the area and hurled stones at residents' homes, according to the Palestinian news agency Wafa.

Yeni Safak English also described an incident in Al-Mughayyir village northeast of Ramallah where settlers set fire to land in the village plain as Israeli forces stormed the area simultaneously.
The same report said Israeli soldiers fired stun grenades and tear gas at Palestinians who gathered to confront the settlers and extinguish the fire.
Impunity and settlement expansion
Amnesty International said impunity fuels Israel's illegal annexation measures in the West Bank, describing an "unprecedented acceleration" of the Israeli project to expand illegal settlements.
Amnesty International quoted Erika Guevara-Rosas saying, "We are facing a state, led by a prime minister sought by the International Criminal Court for war crimes and crimes against humanity," and added that Israel continues to expand illegal settlements.
The Amnesty International report also cited a December 10, 2025 Israeli Land Authority bid for 3,401 housing units in the E1 area, east of Jerusalem, in the occupied West Bank.
Amnesty International further said that on December 11, 2025 the Israeli security cabinet approved plans to establish 19 new settlements, bringing the total number approved by the current coalition government to 68 in just three years and to about 210 the total number of official settlements.
