Israeli Soldier Kills Suspect After Car Ramming Injures Two Israeli Teenagers Near Gush Etzion Junction

Israeli emergency services and the military reported that a car crashed into pedestrians near the Gush Etzion Junction in the occupied West Bank on Sunday night, injuring two Israeli teenagers.

The Israeli military said troops were dispatched to the busy junction between Bethlehem and Hebron after reports that the vehicle-ramming incident targeted civilians, and a soldier immediately fired and ‘eliminated the terrorist,’ according to the military.

Magen David Adom (MDA) said a 15 years old girl had severe facial injuries and a 17 years old girl had limb injuries, and both were taken to a hospital in Jerusalem for further treatments.

The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the deceased suspect as 31-year-old Hebron resident Amjad Jawad Abdel Fattah Natsheh, who was killed by Israeli soldiers at the intersection south of Bethlehem, while Israeli officials did not disclose the attacker's identity.

Haaretz said two Israeli teens were severely and moderately wounded in a car ramming attack at a major West Bank intersection, with the IDF operating in Hebron.
