Jordan condemns colonists attacks on Palestinians and holds Israel responsible

The Jordanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates strongly condemned what it called ongoing terrorist attacks by Israeli colonists against Palestinians.

The statement was issued in Amman on March 8, 2026 by WAFA Agency, and the Ministry held Israel, the occupying power, responsible for these attacks.

The Ministry's official spokesperson, Ambassador Fouad Majali, affirmed the Kingdom's absolute rejection and condemnation of the attacks.

He described the escalating colonists' terrorism as a reprehensible escalation and a further targeting of Palestinian civilians.

He framed these incidents as occurring "amidst dangerous and illegal Israeli measures in the occupied West Bank," attributing responsibility to Israeli actions and policies.

Majali called on the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities and to compel Israel to halt its escalation and colonists' attacks.

He urged the international community to guarantee the Palestinian people's legitimate right to establish an independent and sovereign state on the June 4, 1967 borders with East Jerusalem as its capital.

He said this was the only way to achieve a just and comprehensive peace that guarantees security and stability in the region.
