Millions of Yemenis Rally in Sanaa, Condemning Trump’s Insult to Mecca

Millions of Yemenis demonstrated in Sanaa, with a mass rally at Al-Sabeen Square that Khabar Online described as an “unprecedented popular rally” with the slogan "With Iran and Lebanon, we honor the Day of Furqan."

Mehr News Agency, citing Al-Masirah, said the marchers condemned “Trump's insult to the holy city of Mecca” and issued a statement that "We condemn the targeted insult to the holy cites and symbols of Islam by international Zionism and its arms."

The Khabar Online account said the crowd declared solidarity with “the resisting nations” and sent messages of resilience and solidarity with the martyrs and the wounded to the world.

In its final statement, the rally emphasized that the Yemeni people are steadfast and committed and will not hesitate, regardless of the sacrifices required, in supporting the fighters of the resistance in Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq.

Khabar Online reported that the rally ended with a pledge to remain steadfast “on the path of jihad for the sake of God,” and it framed the stance as “in accordance with what God commanded us in His holy Book.”

The same final statement said, "We are in an open war with the enemies," and it declared that the Yemeni people stand beside “the people of Iran, their steadfast Islamic regime, and their heroic army and the IRGC.”

Khabar Online added that demonstrators said the blood of the martyrs and the wounded in Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq is their blood, and it said their stance is drawn from the guidance of the leader of Ansarullah regarding steadfastness and readiness for battle.

The Saada march participants, Mehr News Agency said, held the Holy Quran in their hands and chanted slogans condemning the insult to Mecca while emphasizing adherence to Quranic teachings and readiness to defend Islamic sanctities.

Khabar Online said the Yemenis demanded the expulsion of American bases from “our Islamic lands,” describing those bases as “a heavy burden and a source of shame.”

Khabar Online also said the rally statement condemned attacks by “Zionist Jews and Americans against civilian targets” in some regional countries, and it urged Yemenis to rely on God and take serious action to confront what it described as the magnitude of the dangers.
