Draft text and co-sponsors
Al Jazeera quoted diplomatic sources as saying that 95 UN member states have so far indicated their intention to co-sponsor the amended draft resolution.
According to the sources, limited amendments were made to the draft resolution, consisting of minor wording changes without affecting its substance.

The text retains the call for an immediate halt to the attacks, an explicit condemnation of them, and a reaffirmation of support for the sovereignty of the affected Gulf states.
Diplomatic sources said it is still unclear whether Russia will present a rival draft resolution for a vote in the Council.
