Islamic Resistance Targets Merkava Tanks and Troop Gatherings in Yahmur al-Shuqayf and Galilee Forests Camp

The Islamic Resistance in Lebanon carried out a series of operations targeting vehicles, positions, and gatherings of soldiers of the Israeli occupation army in several towns and sites in southern Lebanon on Friday.

At 21:30, the resistance fighters targeted a gathering of occupation troops at the Galilee Forests Camp and an artillery position at Khirba Ma'ar with two attack drones for each target.

At 08:50, it targeted a Merkava tank in the town of Yahmur al-Shuqayf with appropriate weapons, seen burning, and between 14:30 and 14:40 it targeted three Merkava tanks in the town of Yahmur al-Shuqayf with three Ababil assault drones, achieving confirmed hits.

The resistance stated in its releases that the operations came in defense of Lebanon and its people, and in response to the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that struck villages in southern Lebanon, causing martyrs and injuring several civilians.

In four separate statements, Al-Thawra Net said the Islamic Resistance in Lebanon targeted five Merkava tanks and detonated an explosive device against a military vehicle of the Israeli enemy army in the occupied southern part of the country.

In statement No. 7, the fighters said that between 14:30 and 14:40, they targeted three Merkava tanks in the town of Yahmor al-Shaqif with three Ababil assault drones and achieved confirmed hits.

The same outlet said the operations came in response to the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire and the attacks that hit the southern villages and resulted in martyrs and civilians wounded, as part of the battle known as "The Devastating Blow."
