Israeli Airstrike Kills One Palestinian, Wounds Four in Eastern Gaza City

An Israeli airstrike targeting eastern Gaza City killed one Palestinian and wounded four others, and the death toll from a bombing of a refugee camp west of the city rose to 7, according to QNA.

QNA also said medical sources reported one Palestinian was killed and four others were wounded by Israeli drone fire in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, while sources in Gaza hospitals said 9 Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, including 8 in Gaza City.

Al-Jazeera Net reported that nine Palestinians were killed in Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip since dawn today, including eight in Gaza City, amid repeated Israeli violations of the ceasefire.

In one strike described by Al-Jazeera Net, an Israeli drone targeted a displacement tent in the Al-Rimal neighborhood west of Gaza City, killing seven Palestinians and injuring more than 15 others.

Al-Jazeera Net said the strike targeted a tent for the displaced inside what is known as the "Passport Camp" west of the city, and that a mood of tension and turmoil prevailed at the Shifa Medical Complex as injured people continued to arrive.

Al-Jazeera Net said the drone strike came without any prior evacuation warning and that the Israeli occupation continued to launch repeated attacks on the Gaza Strip despite the ceasefire being in effect since October 10, 2025.

Al-Jazeera Net quoted its correspondent in Gaza, Shadi Shamia, saying the strike was carried out by an Israeli drone that fired at least two missiles without any prior evacuation warning.

The same report described the Shifa Medical Complex courtyard as tense as injured people arrived, and it said the targeted tent housed a large number of displaced people in the middle of a crowded camp.

In parallel, QNA reported that the total number of victims of the Israeli occupation's aggression against the Gaza Strip since October 7, 2023 rose to 72,961 martyrs and 173,092 wounded.

QNA also said the death toll from the Israeli airstrike that targeted a refugee camp west of the city rose to 7, with approximately 15 injured.

Beyond Gaza, The Tribune-Democrat reported that Israeli airstrikes on southern Lebanon on Saturday killed nine people, including three members of the Lebanese military, days after the two sides reached a new ceasefire deal.

The Tribune-Democrat quoted Lebanon’s President Joseph Aoun calling the strike against its military a “flagrant violation” of the country's sovereignty and international law during an “ongoing escalation that threatens stability and security in the south.”

In a separate live developments account, www.alghad.tv said rocket barrages fired by the Palestinian resistance from inside the Gaza Strip continued while the Israeli army conducted heavy airstrikes targeting civilians and infrastructure in Gaza.

www.alghad.tv also gave a different overall tally, saying that according to the latest count from the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the death toll had risen to about 1,200 martyrs and 5,600 injured.

That same account said “More than 338,000 displaced in the Gaza Strip” and described the Al-Aqsa Flood operation as in its sixth day in a row.
