Ceasefire, then more strikes
Israeli airstrikes and artillery attacks in Lebanon continued despite a ceasefire deal, with TRT World reporting an overnight strike on a home in Kfar Dounine that killed at least six people and injured seven.
TRT World also said Israeli artillery shells targeted the outskirts of Mansouri and Majdal Zoun at dawn, and it cited Lebanese state media for the casualties and hospital treatment in Tyre.

Breakingthenews.net put the broader toll higher, saying Lebanon's Health Ministry told AFP that "At least 380 people have been killed in Israeli raids since the ceasefire came into effect".
The same Breakingthenews.net account said the ceasefire started on April 16 and was later extended by US President Donald Trump by three weeks, while it described the renewed violence as part of a conflict that has killed 2,702 people in Lebanon since March 2.
Casualty counts and warnings
Lebanese media and officials gave different casualty totals in separate incidents, with Anadolu Ajansı reporting "Nine people were killed and 12 others injured" in Israeli strikes in southern Lebanon on Monday.
Anadolu Ajansı said the state news agency NNA reported multiple strikes across towns including Ebba in Nabatieh, Haris in the Bint Jbeil district, and Yater in Bint Jbeil, while it also described drone strikes on cars in Doueir and health center damage in Srifa in Tyre.

In the middle of the strikes, Anadolu Ajansı reported that Israeli army spokesperson Avichay Adraee issued an evacuation warning for nine towns and urged residents to evacuate areas he called Hezbollah infrastructure.
The same Anadolu Ajansı report framed the ceasefire as ongoing but strained, saying Israel and Hezbollah continued attacks despite a ceasefire in place since April 17 that was later extended to mid-May.
Talks in Washington, stakes
As violence continued, the sources tied the next diplomatic push to Washington, with Anadolu Ajansı saying the escalation came as the United States prepares to host peace talks between the two countries in Washington on May 14–15.
The Defense Post added that Lebanon and Israel were preparing to hold a third round of talks on Thursday and Friday in Washington, and it said veteran Lebanese diplomat Simon Karam was recently appointed by President Joseph Aoun to lead Lebanon’s delegation.
Euronews reported Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem dismissing direct negotiations, saying in a message broadcast by al-Manar that "Direct negotiations are a free concession without results".
Euronews also said Qassem rejected returning to what existed before March 2 and warned that Hezbollah would not accept direct contact described as "pure profits for Israel and free concessions from the Lebanese authority," as the ceasefire’s future remained contested.
