Deal Signed, Drone Strike
Israel carried out an Israeli drone strike in the Nabatiyeh area in southern Lebanon on Saturday, a day after Israel and Lebanon signed a US-brokered security arrangement in Washington, Lebanon’s state news agency said.
“Israel strikes southern Lebanon as Hezbollah condemns new deal Israeli air strikes in southern Lebanon have killed one person, the country's health ministry says, a day after Israel and Lebanon signed a framework agreement”
The Express Tribune said the NNA agency reported the Farah amusement park intersection in the Nabatieh al-Fawqa area was hit by the Israeli drone attack, while the BBC reported that an Israeli drone hit the town of Nabatieh al-Fawqa and later reported further strikes in the area.

The BBC said Israel Defense Forces carried out the drone strike on an individual who posed a threat to its forces, without providing details, and the health ministry said the strikes killed one person and wounded at least two more.
The Express Tribune placed the signing in Washington at the State Department, where Lebanese Ambassador Nada Moawad and her Israeli counterpart Yechiel Leiter signed the trilateral document with the US.
The Express Tribune also said the framework agreement was signed after several days of talks aimed at reducing tensions along their border following months of cross-border hostilities with Hezbollah.
Hezbollah Rejects Deal
Hezbollah condemned the new framework agreement, with the BBC reporting that the leader of Lebanon’s Hezbollah militant group rejected it and accused the Beirut government of undermining Lebanon's sovereignty.
Naim Qassem said: "The framework agreement in Washington is humiliating, shameful, and a surrender of sovereignty. This agreement is null and void," and he accused Lebanese authorities of committing a "grave blunder" that "may even lead to the annexation of these lands."

The Express Tribune said Leiter praised Moawad for negotiating like a "lioness" and claimed the trilateral framework agreement would keep "Iran is out, Hezbollah is out, and the road to peace between Israel and Lebanon is in."
The BBC quoted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu calling the agreement reached in Washington "historic" and "a blow to Iran and Hezbollah," while also describing a four-point framework under which Israel will withdraw its forces from the South Litani area.
The BBC added that Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz said Israeli forces had been ordered to "prepare for an extended stay in the security zone" and referred to an area up to 10km inside Lebanese territory.
Withdrawal, Security Zone, Fallout
Under the four-point framework described by the BBC, Israel will withdraw its forces from the South Litani area with the Lebanese army taking exclusive control of the vacated territory, while Israeli forces are permitted to remain in an expanded security area in southern Lebanon.
“Series of Israeli strikes injured three, including an air raid, on southern Nabatieh New Israeli strikes targeted Nabatieh al-Fawqa, in the southern part of the city of Nabatieh, wounding at least three people, according to information from our correspondent”
The BBC said the agreement came after a US-brokered ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon on 16 April failed to stop the fighting, and it added that Israel and Lebanon agreed in June to renew their fragile ceasefire with the US helping guide the creation of "pilot zones" for Lebanese Armed Forces to take exclusive control.
The Express Tribune said a senior Lebanese official source told Anadolu that the deal includes a “gradual” withdrawal of Israeli forces from southern Lebanon, without specifying a timeline or the areas covered by the withdrawal.
The Express Tribune also said the conflict between Israel and Hezbollah broke out when Hezbollah fired at Israel on March 2, days after the US and Israel attacked Iran, and it stated that the Hezbollah attacks triggered Israeli air and ground attacks that have killed more than 4,000 people in Lebanon and displaced more than a million.
The BBC said Israeli attacks in Lebanon have killed at least 4,192 people since the current round began, with more than 11,600 injured and more than 1.2 million displaced, while Israel said 36 of its soldiers and four civilians have been killed.
