Raids in Quneitra
Israeli forces carried out raids in dwellings in Quneitra and intimidated residents, with troops entering the village of Al-Asbah using six military vehicles and conducting house searches.
““If we ate dirt, we wouldn’t take aid from them,” says a woman from the Quneitra countryside who is over seventy, expressing the prevailing public stance in the province by rejecting aid offered to residents by the Israeli occupation army amid its intensified incursions in areas of southwestern Syria”
SANA said Israeli occupation forces infiltrated Jubata al-Khashab in the northern countryside of Quneitra, entering with two military vehicles and a group of soldiers to search a house before withdrawing toward a military site in the Jubata al-Khashab nature reserve, with no arrests reported.

SANA also reported fragments from an Iranian drone intercepted by air defenses fell near the bakery in Khan Arnabah, causing property damage to several homes.
Anadolu Ajansı said Israeli incursions into southern Syria have become nearly daily in recent months, often involving house searches, the installation of checkpoints, and the arrest of civilians including children and shepherds.
Aid Rejected
In the Quneitra countryside, a woman over seventy rejected Israeli aid, saying, “If we ate dirt, we wouldn’t take aid from them,” as residents refused food aid and other assistance offered during intensified incursions.
Al-Jazeera Net described how a Syria Now reporter documented residents of the village al-Esha refraining from receiving aid provided by the Israeli army during its incursions in June, including an incident where soldiers placed aid at night in front of homes and residents gathered it and burned it.
A resident of the Quneitra countryside told Syria Now, “The aid provider is an occupier in our eyes, so how can he occupy our land from one side and give us aid from another?”
The same report said Syrian activists accuse occupation forces of using aid as a “soft power” to impose security and military control in southern Syria while restricting the movement of some farmers and blocking access to pastures.
Detainees and UNDOF
Families of Syrian detainees held in occupation prisons held a protest this Friday morning in front of the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF) headquarters in Nabi al-Fawar in the Quneitra countryside, according to Syria Now’s correspondent.
“Quneitra, (SANA) The Israeli occupation forces infiltrated yesterday into the town of Jubata al-Khashab, in the northern countryside of Quneitra”
The protesters raised banners calling for the immediate release of the detainees and the disclosure of their fate, as the Israeli army carried out periodic incursions in southern Syria including raids and arrests against residents.
Syria Now’s report cited the Center “Sijil,” saying about 46 Syrians remain in occupation prisons since their arrest during the incursions that followed the fall of the Assad regime on 8 December 2024.
The report added that Ibrahim Albi, Syria’s permanent representative to the United Nations, affirmed last Wednesday that Damascus says its engagement in security talks with Israel, mediated by the United States, “has not yielded tangible results on the ground.”
