UAE to India flights back on track? IndiGo resumes operations, shares latest update amid Iran vs US-Israel war
UAE–India flight update
Air travel between the UAE and India is gradually stabilising after days of major disruptions, India’s largest airline IndiGo announced, as it updated Middle East and Europe flight operations.

The disruptions followed widespread airspace closures across the region triggered by escalating tensions involving Iran, Israel and the United States, which forced airlines worldwide to cancel or reroute hundreds of flights.
IndiGo said it is closely monitoring the evolving geopolitical situation and coordinating with aviation authorities to ensure passenger safety while gradually restoring services.
IndiGo route updates
IndiGo’s advisory says the airline will continue operating flights to eight destinations in the Middle East.
It has resumed a limited schedule that includes 17 departures (34 flight sectors) to and from Middle Eastern cities to maintain connectivity for travellers between India and the Gulf.
The airline has also begun resuming operations to Europe, reconnecting passengers to destinations that were temporarily affected.
Earlier in the week, several European routes, including services to London, Manchester and Amsterdam, were suspended to avoid high-risk airspace.
IndiGo said passengers booked on affected flights will be contacted directly through their registered contact details and advised travellers not to go to the airport unless they receive confirmation of their flight status.
Regional aviation disruption
The disruption affecting IndiGo is part of a broader, region-wide aviation crisis tied to the Iran vs US-Israel war.

During the crisis, some countries temporarily closed or restricted airspace, passengers were diverted mid-flight or grounded before departure, and thousands of flight cancellations and delays left travellers stranded.
Other carriers such as Air India, Emirates, Etihad and Qatar Airways issued advisories and adjusted schedules.
Gulf carriers Etihad and Emirates have started operating limited international services after safety assessments.
Authorities and airlines are urging travellers to confirm flight status, monitor advisories, allow extra time for rerouting, and use rebooking or refund options.
They warned that schedules could continue changing as the situation remains fluid.
