About the Campaign

This campaign calls for the immediate release and humane treatment of the Filton 24, a group of pro-Palestinian activists who have been held on prolonged remand in UK prisons without conviction. Eight of them are now on hunger strike in protest at spending up to sixteen months behind bars before trial, with five already hospitalised. Their case exposes a disturbing reality in Britain: peaceful activists resisting their country's role in the destruction of Gaza are being punished more harshly before trial than many people convicted of violent crime. We are demanding that MPs act now to end these excessive remand periods, ensure urgent medical care, uphold basic human rights and stop criminalising solidarity with Palestine.
