The facts the broadcaster had. On the night of 9 June 2026, crowds set occupied homes, a bus, cars and barricades alight, forcing several families to flee. Reporters described masked groups going door to door telling residents to leave, and politicians said the homes of ethnic minorities had been targeted. Fire crews fielded 256 calls and attended 62 incidents in a single night, and police deployed water cannon. GB News reported the violence itself the same night.
