A Palestinian student residing in a University-managed residence block was displaced shortly before the arrival of a newly admitted Israeli student and his spouse. This decision was made despite the Palestinian student's submission of a healthcare professional's letter explaining the serious negative impact on her mental health.
The eviction proceeded despite documented concerns about the impact of relocation, particularly given the trauma and distress caused by the ongoing genocide (according to the UN) in Gaza and hostilities in the West Bank.
