Condemnation and response
جريدة الغد said the Iranian Foreign Ministry announced that Abbas Araqchi spoke by phone with Prince Faisal bin Farhan and with Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan about developments after “the American attacks on Iran.”
The Foreign Ministry statement, as quoted by جريدة الغد, said Araqchi condemned “the American military aggression and violation of Iran's national sovereignty and territorial integrity,” and stressed “the inherent and legitimate right of the powerful Iranian armed forces to respond in kind to these attacks.”
