Manchester City beat Coventry City 1-0 at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday in the Premier League, with Erling Haaland’s goal keeping City’s 100% record in the new season.

Maresca praises, criticises
After the win, Enzo Maresca praised Fernandez’s fit with his system, saying “It is much more easy with a player that you already share time together because they know exactly what you want.”
Maresca was more critical of Ndiaye’s first outing, telling reporters “I think they were all good but Ili just had two sessions with us, he needs to understand how to move.”
BBC said City clung on to the nervy victory with a string of saves from goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, as Coventry threatened to cause a huge upset.
