Tragic Dog Attack

Nineteen-year-old Jamie-Lea Biscoe died after being attacked by a family dog at a property in Long Hide, Leaden Roding, Essex.

Emergency services were called at 10:45pm on April 10, and despite their efforts, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

The dog, a seven-year-old lurcher crossbreed that had been a family pet for seven years, was seized by police.

A 37-year-old man from Dunmow was arrested and has been bailed until July.

Assistant Chief Constable Stuart Hooper said, "Our thoughts remain with all those who knew and loved Jamie-Lea."

Neighbours described the incident as "really tragic" and said Jamie-Lea was "well-liked by the kids."
