Mehr News Agency reported that Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem described Khamenei as “unique in his era” and “an exceptional contemporary leader rarely matched in history.”

The same Mehr News Agency account said Qassem portrayed Khamenei as “the astute politician who understood the dimensions of affairs at the level of the entire world,” and added that “The Leader never asked us for anything; we asked for everything, and everything we requested was granted.”

Mehr News Agency also said Qassem framed Khamenei’s focus as state-building, supporting the resistance, unity, directing the compass toward the liberation of Palestine, and rejecting dependency.

Hezbollah in Lebanon also issued congratulations on the selection of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as Iran’s next Supreme Leader, framing the move as a message to “the enemies of the Islamic Republic and the enemies of the nation.”

In an Iran Online account, Hezbollah of Lebanon congratulated Iran’s leadership and people on the selection of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei as the third Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

The Iran Online text said Hezbollah stressed that “This swift and prudent election sends a resounding message to the enemies of the Islamic Republic and the enemies of the nation.”

A separate statement carried by شبکه العالم said Hezbollah emphasized that “all the power of America and Israel will not be able to break the will of this dear nation,” and that the revolution would continue on the path of the Velayat-e-Faqih until “dignity and victory.”

Hezbollah’s statements in Lebanon tied its congratulations to continued loyalty to the Velayat-e-Faqih, with multiple outlets quoting the movement’s pledge to remain on that path.

شبکه العالم reported Hezbollah saying, “we, in Hezbollah, while extending our sincerest congratulations on this occasion, reaffirm our loyalty to this blessed path and our steadfastness on the path of the Velayat-e-Faqih.”

Al-Manar TV Lebanon’s live page also carried a headline quoting Sheikh Qassem that Hezbollah’s fighters are “devoted to martyrdom and religious leadership (Wilayat), presenting the world with an unprecedented model inspired by it.”

In the same Al-Manar TV Lebanon listing, the page also included a separate headline attributed to Sheikh Qassem calling on the Lebanese government to withdraw from the framework agreement and saying, “we will not allow anyone to target us, and our voice will remain strong in defense of Lebanon’s sovereignty and human rights.”
