Six claims inside Saudi

Yahya Saree, the Houthi military spokesman, claimed six operations against Saudi Arabia on November 7, 2026, targeting King Khalid International Airport, three Saudi Aramco facilities and a National Guard camp in Najran.

Saree said the operations used “a large number of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as unmanned aerial vehicles,” and he described the first operation as targeting the airport plus “oil storage tanks” and “a distillation tower” in Riyadh.

The claims named additional targets including Aramco facilities near the Khurais oil field in the Eastern Province and Pumping Station No. 8 on the East-West pipeline in the Dawadmi area of central Saudi Arabia.

The Houthis also claimed attacks on Saudi-backed forces inside Yemen in Al-Jawf governorate “in three stages,” and east of Raghwan and Madghal districts in Marib governorate, while the sources said no Saudi-led coalition, Saudi Aramco or General Authority of Civil Aviation statement addressed this second wave.

Retaliation and counterclaims

Saree said the Houthis would continue responding to Saudi military action and warned that Saudi Arabia would face further attacks, framing the latest wave as retaliation for what the group called deadly Saudi strikes on civilians in Taiz and Bani Hashish. Saree claimed the first operation targeted Khalid International Airport in Riyadh along with Aramco oil storage tanks and a distillation tower, and he said the attack “successfully achieved its objective”.

Yemeni government forces said they repelled what they described as Houthi military movements over the previous few hours in the Seventh Military Region on the northern front of Marib Governorate, and they said they destroyed combat equipment and “neutralise[d]” groups they alleged had been deployed near the front lines. Mehr News Agency said Brigadier General Yahya Saree announced six operations deep inside Saudi Arabia, and it described the Najran operation as hitting “the gathering place of Saudi mercenaries” and leaving “many dead and wounded”.

Airstrikes, alerts, and fallout

Saree posted on X that Saudi forces had conducted 105 airstrikes and missile attacks over the previous 24 hours, and he said the strikes hit areas including Sanaa, Al-Jawf, Taiz, Amran, Hajjah, Saada, Marib and Lahj. Saree also said the latest attacks brought the total number of Saudi airstrikes and missile attacks since the latest escalation began to 4,369, and he claimed dozens of civilians were killed or wounded, most of them women and children.

Saudi Civil Defense issued a “potential danger” alert in Najran and then announced “the danger has passed” shortly after, according to Anadolu Agency, while the alerts did not identify the source of the threat or confirm strikes at the sites named by Saree. The Palestine Chronicle reported that Sanaa’s Health Ministry said Saudi airstrikes killed 27 people and wounded 36 in Bani Hushaysh district, and it said Yemen’s Civil Defense said further strikes hit rescue workers and residents as they tried to reach and treat the injured.
