IDF strikes in Gaza
The Israeli army announced that it, in cooperation with the Israeli General Security Service (Shin Bet), carried out a series of airstrikes in the Gaza Strip on Saturday and over the past days, saying the strikes resulted in the killing of a number of military leaders in Hamas and Islamic Jihad. The spokesperson for the Israeli occupation army, Eila Waweiya, said on her X account that the army targeted “elite elements” during a meeting in the city of Gaza on Saturday morning. The Israeli army said a separate raid on the Daraj and al-Tuffah areas north of Gaza City killed Muhammad Walid al-Nakhla, described as a commander in the anti-tank missile system belonging to the Hamas military wing of Islamic Jihad.
The Israeli army also said it raided, last Wednesday, the Khan Younis area in the south of the Gaza Strip, targeting Muhammad Abu Shalouf, described as a squad commander in the military wing of Islamic Jihad, and it said a raid on Friday in the same area killed Musa Atef Musa Abu Dan. The Israeli army claimed that its raids were carried out by air to remove the threat, and it said it would continue “eliminating any immediate threat.”

Nukhba meeting targeted
The IDF said it struck Nukhba terrorists in Gaza City over the past 24 hours and eliminated a commander of the Islamic Jihad's anti-tank array. The IDF said it struck during a gathering of Nukhba terrorists in Gaza City earlier on Saturday, and it identified two Hamas operatives as Muad Mazen Hamza Hassouna and Muhammad Riyad Khader Arahim. The Times of Israel reported that the IDF says it killed several members of Hamas’s elite Nukhba force in a strike on a meeting in Gaza City earlier today, along with a Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander in a separate strike.
Palestinian media reports said the strike, which took place near Gaza City’s Panda Mall, killed four people and wounded six others. The IDF added that it took steps to mitigate harm to civilians, including the use of precise munitions and aerial surveillance, and it said IDF troops under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the agreement and will continue to operate to remove any immediate threat.

Ceasefire claims and toll
The Israeli army claimed that its raids were carried out in “systematic violation of the ceasefire agreement,” and it said the operations were aimed at pushing forward plots and rebuilding Hamas's military capabilities. The Al-Jazirah Net account said the Israeli violations of the ceasefire in effect since October 10, 2025, have resulted in the martyrdom of more than 1,471 Palestinians and injuries to 5,189 others, according to the latest data from the Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip. The Al-Jazirah Net account also said that since the start of Israel's genocidal war against the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023, more than 74,000 Palestinians have been martyred and more than 175,000 injured, in addition to destruction affecting about 90% of the infrastructure.
The Jerusalem Post said the IDF killed three Palestinian Islamic Jihad and Hamas terrorists in the Gaza Strip on Thursday in targeted strikes, and it said the IDF added that the attacks constituted a violation of the ceasefire agreement. The Jerusalem Post reported that the IDF and Israeli Security Agency (Shin Bet) destroyed four weapons storage facilities used by PIJ and Hamas in targeted strikes across the Gaza Strip.
