Hezbollah Targets Israeli Soldiers in Naqoura With Attack Drones in Two Waves

The Lebanese Resistance and Hezbollah announced a series of attacks on Israeli military gatherings in southern Lebanon, including operations targeting Naqoura with attack drones launched in two waves.

Elsiyasa said Hezbollah targeted “gatherings of Israeli army soldiers in the town of Naqoura” at 11:00 and 12:30 on Saturday, May 2, 2026, and stated the operation achieved a confirmed injury.

وكالة الصحافة الفلسطينية said the Islamic Resistance carried out 26 operations against sites and gatherings of the Israeli occupation army across several border areas in southern Lebanon, citing Israeli violations of the ceasefire and attacks on civilians and the destruction of southern villages and towns.

In its military statement, the Resistance said it targeted a gathering of occupation army soldiers in the town of Adaisseh with a swarm of dive-bombing drones and targeted a position of soldiers inside a tent in the town of Debel with a specialized dive-bombing drone, achieving a direct hit.

Hezbollah’s statement, as published by Elsiyasa, described its Naqoura operation as occurring at 11:00 and 12:30 on Saturday, May 2, 2026, using attack drones launched in two waves.

Elsiyasa added that the operation “achieved a confirmed injury,” while not providing additional details about the size of losses or the results of the targeting.

In a separate set of statements carried by وكالة الصحافة الفلسطينية, the Islamic Resistance framed its campaign as “in response to the Israeli enemy's violation of the ceasefire, attacks on civilians, and destruction of southern villages and towns.”

The same Resistance statement described clashes as continuing “up to the moment of the statement,” saying Israeli warplanes and drones were trying to intervene to rescue an advancing force after it destroyed a Merkava tank and inflicted injuries.

The Lebanese Resistance’s announced operations extended beyond Naqoura, with وكالة الصحافة الفلسطينية describing strikes on the Rosh HaNikra maritime site using a similar swarm of dive-bombing drones and shelling a gathering of occupation soldiers in the town of Beit Leiv with artillery.

In the same statement, the Resistance said it targeted the Iron Dome platform at the site of Jal al-Alam with a dive-bombing drone, resulting in its destruction, and it also targeted the Iron Dome platform in the settlement of Margaliot and destroyed it.
