Ceasefire Violations

Israeli airstrikes in Gaza killed three Palestinians on Wednesday despite a ceasefire agreement in place since October 2025, with Mohammed Naim Jundiya killed after an Israeli drone targeted him near Municipal Park on Omar al-Mukhtar Street in central Gaza City.

The Middle East Monitor said the strike hit Jundiya while he was walking on Omar al-Mukhtar Street and damaged several vehicles at the scene, and it also cited a drone strike on a gathering of civilians in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, north of Gaza City, that killed two Palestinians and left a third critically injured.

The Anadolu Ajansı report said Israel confirmed it had killed three Palestinian police officers in a new violation of the Gaza ceasefire, and it quoted the Israeli army statement that Mansour Sami Shahtout, commander of the Gaza Maritime Police, had been killed Friday during an airstrike targeting the Al-Maghazi refugee camp.

Anadolu Ajansı added that the Gaza Interior Ministry confirmed the deaths and said they reflected "Israel's insistence on sowing chaos" in the enclave, while also stating that since the ceasefire took effect on October 10, 2025, Israeli attacks have killed at least 1,038 people and injured 3,329, according to Gaza's Health Ministry.

Civil Defense Toll

France 24 reported that Gaza Civil Defense said Israeli raids in the north of the Gaza Strip killed 10 people, including a child, and it said the deaths were reported on Tuesday.

France 24 quoted Mahmoud Bassal, spokesman for the rescue organization operating under Hamas's authority, saying four martyrs, including a child, and several wounded were transported to Al-Chifa Hospital in Gaza City after an Israeli airstrike targeted a police vehicle, and it identified the killed child as Yahya Al-Mallahi, three years old.

In a separate account, Al Jazeera said at least three Palestinians were killed in an Israeli drone strike in northern Gaza near al-Hilu station, which it said houses a private specialist hospital and a fuel station in Gaza City, citing Palestinian Wafa news agency.

Al Jazeera also said that since the truce took effect, at least 1,053 Palestinians have been killed and 3,406 others wounded, according to Gaza’s Government Media Office, and it added that the Palestinian Ministry of Health says a total of 73,066 Palestinians have been confirmed killed and 173,514 others injured since Israel launched its genocidal war on the Palestinians in Gaza in October 2023.

Control, Displacement, Risk

TRT Français reported that Israel killed a Palestinian and wounded eight others in a strike targeting land adjacent to a camp housing displaced people in Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, and it said Palestinian sources described the offensive as a new violation of the ceasefire.

TRT Français added that medical sources told Anadolu Agency that a body and eight wounded were transferred to Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Hospital in Deir al-Balah following the Israeli strike, and it said the Palestinian Red Crescent's field hospital in Khan Younis also said it had received five injured following Israeli naval fire targeting displacement tents along the city's coast.

Yeni Şafak said Israeli violations of the ceasefire continued with artillery fire operations and sustained shelling, and it reported three large-scale demolition operations against homes and structures still standing northeast of Khan Younis and artillery bombarded areas northwest of Rafah.

Yeni Şafak further stated that Israel currently controls more than 70% of the enclave and that, according to the Gaza Health Ministry, Israeli violations of the ceasefire have killed 1,045 people and wounded 3,380, mostly women and children, while Al Jazeera said the Israeli military has prohibited Palestinians from entering territory beyond the so-called “Yellow Line,” effectively putting about 53 percent of the enclave out of the bounds of the residents.
