The National News Agency said Israeli artillery also shelled the town of Sajd and Jabal al-Rafie, in the latest escalation by Israel along the border.

In the Tyre district, Israeli forces carried out multiple air raids striking the towns of Majdal Zoun and Maarakeh, and Israel’s military issued forced displacement orders to residents of three villages in the Sidon district.
Israeli army Arabic-language spokesperson Avichay Adraee posted on X, "To ensure your safety, you must evacuate your homes immediately and move north of the Zahrani River," adding that anyone present near Hezbollah elements was endangering their life.
Netanyahu urges enlistment
Lebanon’s health ministry said Israeli air strikes in southern Lebanon killed 12 people Wednesday, as Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu urged Lebanese citizens to join Israel’s fight against Hezbollah.
Netanyahu told the Lebanese people, "Israel is not at war with you. We are at war with Hezbollah, that has taken your country hostage... We yearn for peace with you, with Lebanon."

Lebanon’s state-run National News Agency (NNA) reported Israeli strikes on more than 30 locations in southern and eastern Lebanon on Wednesday, including on Tayr Debba and Deir Qanun al-Nahr, and on three towns where Israel’s military issued evacuation warnings.
The NNA also reported an Israeli drone strike on a vehicle in Sidon, and an AFP correspondent in Sidon heard an explosion before seeing a car burning and rescuers pulling two people from the vehicle.

The Ministry of Public Health said Israeli attacks on Lebanon have killed at least 3,711 people and wounded 11,483 since the conflict escalated on March 2, including at least 247 children and 132 health workers.
Lebanon’s government said it would seek to broaden the ceasefire in talks with Israeli officials in Washington tomorrow, Wednesday, while Iran’s Mehr news agency reported a draft deal with the US would provide a framework for ending the war on all fronts, including in Lebanon.
