Strikes across southern Lebanon
Israeli air raids and drone strikes hit multiple towns in southern Lebanon, including Ali Al-Taher Heights, Al-Dabsheh, Kfar Roumman, Zawtar Al-Sharqiyeh, Kfartebnit, and Al-Mansouri, according to ABNA English’s account of Al-Manar reporting.

In Nabatieh district, Al Jazeera said an Israeli strike killed a Lebanese woman in the town of Arab Salim and injured several other people, with Israel linking the attacks to Hezbollah launching two drones at Israeli troops.
Al Jazeera also reported that an Israeli air strike on the Lebanese town of Kfar Reman killed three people and injured at least 23, citing the Ministry of Public Health, while the National News Agency said the strike hit Nabatieh near the strategic Ali al-Taher ridge.
The same Al Jazeera report said Israeli raids and artillery shelling targeted seven towns in the Tyre and Nabatieh districts, and it added that Israel’s military said it would strike southern Lebanon in response to a Hezbollah drone beyond the “Yellow Line.”
Claims, counterclaims, and escalation
Al Jazeera described a dispute over the Ali al-Taher ridge, saying the National News Agency reported the strike hit Nabatieh near the strategic Ali al-Taher ridge that the Israeli army said it had captured, while Hezbollah did not confirm losing control of the area.
In the same Al Jazeera coverage, Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz claimed the military had cleared Hezbollah fighters embedded in tunnels under the strategic ridge, and the report said the attacks came as Israeli forces intensified attacks on southern Lebanon despite two truce agreements mediated by United States President Donald Trump’s administration.
Al Jazeera also reported that Hezbollah condemned Israel’s campaign as taking place amid “complete international silence and blatant American complicity,” and it said the group reiterated its rejection of Beirut’s “fruitless direct negotiations” with Israel.
Separately, Al-Arabiya said the Israeli Air Force early Sunday killed four people, with the Lebanese Health Ministry reporting two deaths in Nabatieh al-Foqa town and two women killed in Arzaalīm town, while 20 others were injured in several areas including women and three children.

Al Jazeera reported that Israeli forces are still operating inside a self-declared “security zone” about 10km (six miles) deep inside Lebanon, and it said Israel is considering pulling its troops occupying Lebanese territory closer to the Israeli border.

In that report, Israeli public broadcaster Kan said the military was preparing to scale back its presence and reposition three to four kilometres closer to the Israeli border, along a new “Grey Line,” which would pull troops back from parts of the “Yellow Line.”
Al-Del e Al-Arabiya said UN humanitarian affairs coordinator for Lebanon, Othman Raad, expressed via X after visiting the area that families returning to Nabatieh during the ceasefire period "face widespread destruction, a lack of basic services, and ongoing insecurity."
The same Al-Del e Al-Arabiya coverage also said Israel announced it had taken control of the hill of "Ali al-Tahir" and that Israel Defense Minister Israel Katz said the army would bolster its positions to prevent the enemy from reestablishing a foothold in the area.
