Strike near Maghazi
An Israeli air strike near the Maghazi refugee camp in central Gaza killed at least one person and wounded two others, according to Wafa and Palestinian media, with the attack taking place near Salah al-Din Street on Sunday morning.

Al Jazeera reported that the strike came a day after an Israeli drone attack targeted the al-Hasanat family in Deir el-Balah, killing one person and wounding several others, as Ashraf Abu Amra reported from the city.

In the same central Gaza area, Canal 9 Bío Bío Televisión said a 4-year-old boy died from injuries sustained in a bombing by the Israeli army in the Zawaida area, identifying the victim as Mohamed Abd al Salam Hassan Taha, and it said the attack targeted a warehouse near the tent where the boy was located.
Civil Defense and hospitals
Gaza Civil Defense emergency service said in a statement that “Staff in the central region are working to extinguish a fire in a warehouse attacked by the Israeli occupation near the Maghazi crossing, on Salah al-Din Street,” describing shrapnel that pierced the canopy and caused fatal injuries to the 4-year-old in Zawaida.
Hours earlier, Canal 9 Bío Bío Televisión said the armed forces attacked the entrance to the Maghazi camp, killing a 25-year-old man identified as Ismail Abu Al Foul, according to Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, and it said the Israel Defense Forces have not commented on the two deaths.
Cooperativa also reported that the Gaza child, Mohamed Abd al Salam Hassan Taha, died after Israel bombed the Zawaida area in the Maghazi urban refugee camp, with shrapnel from the explosion penetrating the canvas and mortally wounding the minor.
Cooperativa added that the bombing occurs despite the ceasefire in effect in the enclave since October 2025, and it cited OCHA figures that nearly 21,300 children have died in this territory due to Israeli bombings since October 7, 2023.

The events were described as taking place despite the ceasefire in effect in the enclave since October 2025, with La Tercera saying the Gaza Ministry of Health count published this Sunday put at least 1,286 Palestinians dead in Israeli attacks during the truce period.
