An Israeli artillery strike also wounded two Palestinians in the Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast of Gaza City, while attacks came shortly after four people were injured, including a child and a woman, in a drone strike on a house in the Bureij refugee camp.
In the Jabalia refugee camp in the northern Gaza Strip, an Israeli quadcopter drone dropped a bomb on a tent sheltering displaced people, but no injuries were reported.

Beyond Gaza, La Presse reported that two Palestinians were killed Monday by gunfire from Israeli soldiers in the northern and southern parts of the occupied West Bank, citing the Israeli army and the Ramallah-based Health Ministry.

La Presse said the Israeli army told AFP that a man armed with a knife had run toward active soldiers near the town of Doura, and that soldiers opened fire and eliminated him.
The same La Presse report said the Palestinian Health Ministry identified him as Ramzi al-Awawdeh, 22, killed by Israeli fire at dawn in the town of Khursa, three kilometers south of Doura, and identified Abdoulrahmane Abou al-Roub, 31, killed at the Anab checkpoint east of Tulkarem.
Franceinfo reported that a Palestinian couple and two of their children were killed by Israeli army gunfire in Tammoun after Israeli soldiers opened fire on their car at a checkpoint, and that two other children were wounded.
Franceinfo also said an AFP tally based on figures from the Palestinian Health Ministry found at least 1,049 Palestinians killed in the West Bank since the Gaza war began, while official Israeli data put the number of Israelis killed in the same region at least 45.
