Shelling near Khan Younis
On Sunday, an Israeli artillery shelling on southern Gaza Strip killed a Palestinian girl, according to Qatar news agency (QNA) reporting from General Gaza, June 28.

QNA said a 13-year-old girl was killed after being hit by shrapnel from an artillery shell fired by the Israeli occupation army near the Bani Suheila roundabout, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

WAFA also reported that a 13-year-old Palestinian girl died on Sunday after succumbing to injuries sustained in Israeli artillery shelling east of Khan Younis, with medical sources at Nasser Hospital saying the body of Eileen Al-Farra arrived after a head injury caused by shrapnel.
WAFA added that earlier in the day medical sources announced that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Strip since October 7, 2023 had risen to 73,054, with 173,480 others injured.
Ceasefire violations and strikes
TRT Français reported that Israel killed six Palestinians, including one child, and wounded several others during airstrikes targeting police checkpoints in southern Gaza.
It said Israeli aircraft attacked two police checkpoints in Khan Younis, in southern Gaza, killing three police officers and three civilians, including a little girl, and wounding four others.
TRT Français further stated that Israeli forces were daily violating the ceasefire in effect since October 10, causing 691 dead and 1,876 wounded as of March 18, according to data from the Palestinian Health Ministry.
The same TRT Français account said Israel launched a genocidal war against Gaza in October 2023, killing more than 72,000 Palestinians and injuring about 172,000, while devastating nearly 90% of the enclave's civilian infrastructure.
Deaths tallied across sources
QNA reported that the death toll from the Israeli occupation's aggression on the Gaza Strip, since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023, had risen to 73,054, with 173,480 injured.

WAFA likewise tied its Sunday reporting to the same aggression timeline, saying medical sources announced that the death toll had risen to 73,054 and that 173,480 others were injured.
SANA reported a separate incident on Tuesday in which a Palestinian child was killed in a bombardment by the Israeli occupying force that targeted the east of Khan Younis, and it identified the child as Adel al-Najjar (9 years old).
SANA also stated that the death toll of the war waged by 'Israel' in the Gaza Strip since October 7 had risen to 72,594 killed and 172,404 wounded, while noting that a Palestinian woman was injured by Israeli gunfire in the north and south including Beit Lahia, Jabalia and Khan Younis.
