In Khan Yunis, Al-Jazeera correspondent also reported heavy Israeli shelling and intense gunfire from Israeli helicopters targeting central Khan Yunis city in the southern Gaza Strip, while a local source confirmed two citizens were injured by shelling and a third was wounded by army gunfire in the Al-Mowasi area.

Al-Jazeera said the Israeli army announced its forces spotted two individuals who allegedly breached the Yellow Line to seize combat vehicles belonging to the army and were assassinated, and it added that an explosive device exploded in an Israeli Army armored vehicle from the Givati Brigade in southern Gaza Strip with no casualties.

Palestinian medical sources reported that the total number of casualties from Israeli violations since the agreement came into force reached 1,260 martyrs and 4,154 wounded.

Drone Strike and Demolitions

An Anadolu Ajansı report said three Palestinians were injured on Saturday in an Israeli drone strike targeting a motorcycle in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip.

An Anadolu medical source at Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital said three injured people were brought to the facility, one of them in serious condition, after an Israeli drone struck a motorcycle on Salah al-Din Street east of Deir al-Balah.

Anadolu also reported that early Saturday the Israeli army carried out large-scale demolitions in areas under its control in Rafah in southern Gaza and east of Gaza City in the north, and witnesses told Anadolu they heard powerful explosions caused by Israeli forces blowing up buildings and other structures.

The report said Israeli artillery fired several shells toward areas east of the Zeitoun neighborhood in southeastern Gaza City, and it stated that Israeli ceasefire violations have killed 1,262 Palestinians and injured 4,168 others since the agreement took effect.

Anadolu added that with US support, Israel has waged a war on Gaza since Oct. 8, 2023, killing more than 73,000 Palestinians and injuring over 174,000, according to Palestinian sources.

Israeli Statements and Threats

In a separate Israeli account, Israel National News said Hamas planted an explosive device under an IDF tank near the Yellow Line in the southern Gaza Strip, and it reported that no IDF injuries were reported.

Israel National News quoted an IDF spokesperson saying, "These incidents constitute violations of the ceasefire agreement, and the IDF views them with the utmost severity," and it added that IDF troops under the Southern Command remain deployed in the area to remove any immediate threat.

TRT World reported that Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir told former captive Rom Braslavski on his podcast that he would seek to allow Braslavski to personally take part if Palestinian prisoners are executed under Israel's recently enacted death penalty law.

TRT World included Ben-Gvir’s response: "I will turn the world upside down to make that happen," and it also quoted Ben-Gvir saying, "By the way, it is hanging. The punishment we passed there is execution by hanging."

In the same TRT World report, Ben-Gvir said during prison visits he used to see jam, chocolate, television, table tennis and meat, and he added, "Today, we face a completely different reality."
